This unique enterprise was founded by Peter Loevy, a graduate of Colgate University and The Restaurant School and a seasoned veteran of the restaurant and catering industry. Our combination of culinary, design, and hospitality experiences has made Catering By Design Philadelphia’s preeminent event coordinators featuring a full-time design staff.

Our custom menu development is inspired by dishes and flavors from all over the globe. Before joining Catering By Design, our chefs developed menus for some of the most prestigious hospitality units in the country. Our experience and knowledge are demonstrated by our ability to produce both distinctive cuisine particular to a certain region as well as creating cross-cultural masterpieces. Our  design professionals then work skillfully to infuse the tastes and flavors of the cuisine with the overall conceptual design.
